This property was an investment project for our client. We worked closely with them to craft a budget that helped them convert their property to add a 1-bed apartment to ensure they would get a return on their investment. We removed the roof and installed a 1-bedroom apartment including a kitchen with natural brick wall feature. Roof scaffolding was erected over the entire project, and a waterproof/breathable membrane and batons were added before tiling the new roof. We were sympathetic to the original structure by using the same products as the original house. The project came in on budget and timescale and the client profited from their investment while creating a comfortable rental property where people want to live.
